As a wedding and special event photographer, I get to photograph in some really amazing places. And one place I love in London, Ontario is RiverBend Golf Course & Community.

As a lot of people are now booking vendors for their wedding day, we’ve been receiving a lot of inquiries and meeting with many people regarding our services. A question that often comes up is, “How soon after our wedding will we receive our proofs, etc?”
The answer:
Within one (1) week of your wedding date, your images will be posted in a password protected online gallery and you can share this with anyone you choose. Then, within three (3) weeks, you will receive your printed proofs and DVD of edited high resolution files.
The album process is a little more complicated than that, however, after you select the images for your album, you will be shown the initial design within three (3) weeks. Once you approve the final artwork for your album, the finished product typically takes about 7 to 9 weeks to be delivered to us.

Anne and I had the pleasure last weekend of traveling to London, Ontario and being an exhibitor at the London Bridal Expo held at the Western Fair Grounds. It was a fantastic 2 day show and we met a lot of fantastic brides and grooms to be.
We were also fortunate to meet quite a few top notch wedding vendors from the London area such as Scott & Sue from Essential Music Service and Natalie of Village Vines Florists. We look forward to building more friendships in the community as we spend more time in the London area.
So… if you are getting married next year, don’t hesitate to come out to the show this fall. It is being held at the Western Fair Grounds again during the weekend of September 26th and 27th, 2009.
On a very cold and wintry night before Christmas, I ventured to London, Ontario for a very happy occasion – Marcia’s birthday. What she did not know was that her husband and two daughters planned a surprise birthday party for her at the beautiful Riverbend Golf Course in London. I don’t think I need to say that they all had a good time judging from Marcia’s laughter!
Just before Christmas, Anne and I had the pleasure of venturing to London, Ontario for Lindsay and Craig’s wedding. We met Lindsay and her mother about a year ago and ever since then, we have been looking forward to this winter wedding.
During the fall, Lindsay, Craig and I spent some time at Bellamere Winery in London during their engagement session… and they ultimately returned there for their wedding vows (it is a lovely place if you have not been there). They had an absolutely lovely winter wedding (mother nature made sure we had plenty of snow!) which included a touching ceremony conducted by a close family friend (hi Aunt Paula!) and a very elegant reception .
Lindsay and Craig: Anne and I wish you nothing but happines, joy and laughter in your life together.

Another very busy (and extremely successful) year comes to a close. This was our first complete year operating out of Stratford, Ontario after we relocated the studio from Toronto in June 2007 – so we are now photographing weddings (and other events) in the GTA, London, Hamilton and surrounding areas.
We were also extremely honoured to be named Wedding and Portrait Photographers International’s (WPPI) Studio of the Month for October 2008 and are touched by the hundreds of people who called and/or emailed congratulating us on this achievement.
A BIG thank you is in order to our amazing clients for making our studio such a success! We have the honour of photographing some of the most amazing people on the planet and it is our pleasure to serve you. We will continue to update our products which also includes family, event and architectural photography plus our ever expanding line of custom made fine art albums.
There’s no way I can operate this studio by myself… and I am very grateful to my wife Anne, David Chang-Sang, Ralph Heinze, Kristen Amies, Sheila Braam and Zeus for all of their hard work this year. I am very proud of this amazing team we have assembled.

Anne and I along with our colleague, Sheila Braam, headed out to London recently for Magda and Luke’s wedding. They spent some time a few months ago in Stratford for their engagement session and we were really looking forward to their wedding day.
After a lovely service (completely in Polish – a first for me!) at Our Lady of Czestochowa church in London, we headed over to the Civic Gardens… a stunning venue for some more photos and ultimately, the reception. It was a beautiful autumn day which was equally fitting for such a lovely wedding.
Magda and Luke: thank you for being such a great couple and for your hospitality. We wish you lots of love and happiness… many blessings to you and your families/friends.

Anne and I were fortunate enough to spend some time in London, Ontario at Liz and Justin’s wedding. It was a very special affair as they had two wedding ceremonies: a Catholic service and a Korean ceremony.
Their Catholic ceremony was held at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica in downtown London. We then headed out to RiverBend Golf Course where they held the Korean ceremony and reception. The bridal party was eager to explore the golf course and we were just as keen to photograph them having fun.

I spent some time recently in London, Ontario with Lindsay and Craig – they will be getting married this winter at Bellamere Winery (it is worth a visit if you have not been there before) and decided to have a few engagement images taken there before they finally walk down the aisle!
We had a great time together, especially with the great photo opportunities Bellamere presented to us. Plus as an added bonus, I got to see them play poker and football (two games they absolutely love). And not forget, they have two really awesome dogs who came out to visit!

A few days ago, Magda and Luke from London, Ontario decided to visit our fair city of Stratford to spend a couple of hours with Anne and myself for their engagement session. We had a leisurely time together strolling in the park – and when I asked Luke how he proposed to his lovely bride to be, he enlightened us with a reenactment of it (they are the shots in the video where is kneeling, amongst other things!).

Anne and I ventured to Chatham, Ontario last week for Mari-Lynn and Jason’s wedding. They both currently reside in London, Ontario and decided to return “home” for their nuptials.
They were married at Charing Cross United Church in a lovely (and light hearted) service and then the entire bridal party headed over to the newly renovated Retro Suites in the downtown area for a few shots in this beautiful hotel.
