Hello, this is Zeus again, but you can call me Zeubie. Woof.
We went to London, Ontario again to visit a very cool Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy named Amara. She is only 3 months old and it is amazing what a bundle of energy she is. Her name has African origins which is quite fitting for her.
We had a really fun time together playing with her toys and just romping around. She also has the best homemade treats (I tried to sneak one but it was high up on the table so I couldn’t get it) that her mom and dad always give her.
It was great to meet you, Amara. Please say hi to your mom and dad for me.
Woof.
Take care,
Zeubie

Hello. This is Zeus, but you can call me Zeubie.
There is a really cool site on the internet called MacroMutt.com – it features dogs and people bearing photographic instruments their photographers. Well guess what? I am their featured canine today!
So if you have a chance, click here to check out my picture. I hope I don’t look fat in my outfit fur…

Hello, this is Zeus again, but you can call me Zeubie.
I had a great idea a few weeks ago so I called meeting of everyone in the studio (I love the power of being the Chief Executive Dog). I told them about my idea and they loved it, so I have been busy putting everything together.
So what is it?
roëlphotography now offers dog photography (in addition to our wedding work)!
If you look at the top of this blog (or on our home page www.roelphoto.com), you will see a photo on the far right hand side of the menu section that says “dogs“. Click on it, and you can see our nice great beautiful fantastic doggy website.
We are running an introductory special until the end of June 2009… you can receive the dog portrait sitting (hey man, I made a joke!) and a beautiful 11″x14″ canvas gallery wrap for only 250.00 bones dollars plus tax. After that date, it will go back to its normal price.
Once in a while, we visit a dog shelter and we see so many cool dogs who need a good home. While they are at the shelter, they need medicine, food and sometimes need to see the medicine dog doctor which gets really expensive. So, I have decided that 10% of all of our dog photography sales will be donated to the Humane Society as I want to help out my fellow canines.
So, check out the site, get some very cool dog pictures taken and support a great cause. You can also give it as a gift to someone who is a dog parent via our doggy gift registry.
Hope to see you soon at the studio!
Woof!

Hello, this is Zeus again, but you can call me Zeubie.
We went to London again to visit a really cool mini Dachshund named Gordon. He just turned 1 year old last week (happy birthday to you!):
Gordon is a very expressive and funny dog… he told me that one day he plans to do stand up comedy for us dogs. That’s good because we can all use a chuckle from time to time.
It was great to hang out with you Gordon! I hope to see you on stage sometime!
Take care,
Zeubie

Hello, this is Zeus again, but you can call me Zeubie.
I have made some more new friends … and they are really BIG dogs. Their names are Flex (who is a 3 year old German Shepherd), Hunter (who is an 11 year old German Shepherd/Border Collie) and Kane (who is a 6 year old long haired German Shepherd). Seeing as I am only 13 pounds of fluff and 12 inches tall, it can be scary being around a big dog, but these guys are really nice people canines.
They came to London to visit their mommy’s cousin (hi Jodi!), but they live near Sarnia in the village of Point Edward (I am feeling hungry for fries under the bridge). I am glad they came to visit and I hope to see them again soon.
Take care guys!

Hey Man,
Hello? Is anyone out there? Testing, testing…
Hello, this is Zeus, but you can call me Zeubie. Since I am the Chief Executive Dog for the photography studio, I *finally* got an ID on our website so I am going to start to post more often.
I would like to introduce one of my newest friends. His name is Molson, the great Canadian beer dog (bah ha ha, I make a joke).
Molson is a cool dog… he is still a wee puppy, even though he is much bigger than me. He is a 4 month old Golden Retriever (I asked him what he retrieves and he said shoes). The young lad lives in Toronto with his mommy and daddy but sometimes goes to London to visit his Gump-parents. Even though it is the May two-four weekend (even though it is May one-five right now), I told him he should stay away from the beer but didn’t listen to me.
Molson, you are a very cool dog. I am glad you are my friend.
Take care,
Zeubie
p.s. If Molson has given you access to his online gallery, you can visit our home page at www.roelphoto.com and click on “online gallery”.

Friday March 13, 2009 (20:42) | Dogs, General, Zeus

For those of you who know Anne and me really well, you will attest to the fact that we adore our dog, Zeus. Not only is Zeus our Chief Executive Dog (he slept his way to the top), we think he is the cutest little guy on four paws. Then again, we are very biased.
For those of you who have a dog, you will know exactly what I mean. When Zeus was a puppy, we would teach him tricks, how to sit, etc. Then one day I realised that we teach dogs very little… but dogs teach us a lot. They are very old and wise souls, IMHO. They know how to have fun, play, be themselves – and they are one of the few creatures on the planet that know how to love unconditionally. Who could ask for anything more?
So, if you have a dog, give him/her a great big hug and a cookie. We’ll be doing the same for our little Zeus!
