Andrew and Matthew
After spending some time with my two little friends, Andrew and Matthew, I disappeared into my studio for a few days and then presented their mom and dad with their Family Stories book.

Last week, Anne and I headed out to Burlington, Ontario for Michelle and Patrick’s wedding. We started out at Michelle’s family home before heading to meet Patrick at the church.

Michelle and Patrick were married at St. Paul The Apostle Parish in Burlington where they had a very touching service.

After the service, we headed off to the Shell Park in Oakville, Ontario with the bridal party … and not to forget, a little quiet time for the newly married couple.

And then, off to a wonderful reception (and dinner!) held at The Oakville Conference and Banquet Centre. It was a great end to an even greater wedding day!

Michelle and Patrick – thank you for sharing your wedding day with Anne and myself. You and your families are very kind people and we appreciated your hospitality. We wish you both nothing but happiness.
If Michelle and Patrick have given you access to their online gallery to view their proofs, you can click here to log into it (click on “proofs” on the bottom of the next screen when it appears).

Wedding season has started a bit earlier than usual (or I am getting busier!) and it is my privilege to congratulate Jennifer and D.J. who were recently married at Geraldo’s At LaSalle Park in Burlington.

Here are Jenn and D.J. and their bridal party.

Right after the ceremony, I found this on the table with the guest book… I must admit I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time!
I normally take candid shots of the guests for the bride and groom – these two young ladies decided that they would rather do a self portrait instead:
Jenn and D.J. – I wish you all the best and a life of happiness. Congratulations again!
By the way, if Jenn and D.J. have given you access to their online gallery, you can reach it from our main page at www.roelphoto.com, option number 5 – “client galleries“.

Summer is almost over but the weddings keep on going! This week’s wedding features Cystal and John from Burlington. They actually got married in the Bahamas a few months ago but held a reception and BIG celebration with all of their friends and family.

They held their reception at the beautiful Atrium Conference Centre in Burlington – a stunning venue.

John comes from a long line of musicians in Ireland, so his family (as well as John himself!) entertained the guests with fantastic music.

The band “Dark Horse” (most of the band’s members are John’s cousins) played all night to the delight of the guests.

Crystal and John: may you have a long and prosperous life together. Thanks again for letting me be a part of your celebration!

Wedding season continues… and another fantastic couple and wedding!
This weekend I had the honour of witnessing and photographing Marianne and Robert’s wedding. They were married at the Christ Latvian Lutheran Church in Hamilton and their reception was hosted at the beautiful Crosswinds Golf & Country Club in Milton.

I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and may you always have many wonderful memories of your wedding day!
